THE QUICKEST CAJUN SHRIMP AND “GRITS” | Keto Friendly | Low Carb [COOK TIME: 20 MIN]

These keto friendly shrimp and grits are the quickest, low carb comfort food you’ll ever come across (probably). This recipe makes enough of my cajun, diner-style gravy for two and comes together in 20 minutes or less!

Ingredients:

Gravy:
4 Strips of Bacon fat
1/4 Cup diced onions
1/4 Cup chopped green peppers
2 Cajun andouille sausage links
2 tbsp Minced garlic (or 2-4 cloves)
1 tbsp butter
4 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 Cup of chicken broth
1/2 Cup of heavy cream
2 Tsp Garlic powder, onion powder, basil, oregano and cayenne pepper
2 tbsp Cajun season (salt free)
1/2 Cup of cheddar cheese
4 tbsp green onions
Salt & Pepper to taste

Cauliflower Grits:
1 cup riced cauliflower
1/3 cup cheese of choice
3-4 tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper to taste
