Seer Fish / Vanjaram Fry is one of the most favorite dishes for any non-vegetarian food lovers. Seer Fish fry is a simple dis to cook and it has a crispy texture and it makes you drool over it.

Seer Fish Recipe:

Seer Fish – 500 gram
Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 ½ tsp
Corn Flour – 1 tbsp
Water – 2 tbsp
Groundnut Oil – As Needed

Cooking Instructions:

1. Wash and clean the Seer fish with water and pat dry with a kitchen towel.

2. In a shallow bowl, add Ginger Garlic Paste, Lemon Juice, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Turmeric Powder, cornflour and water. Mix this to form a thick paste.

3. Take one fish slice at a time and apply the masala paste on both the side of the fish. Repeat this process for all the fish pieces.

4. Marinate the fish for 3-4 hours.

5. Heat Groundnut oil in a Tawa and shallow fry the fish on both sides till the fish is cooked. It should take around 3 mins per side on medium heat.

6. Serve this hot with lemon slices and onion slices.
