Intermittent Fasting is when you have a shorter eating window of about 8 hours, and do not eat anything for about 16 hours.

Benefits include:
– reduced insulin levels
– reduced oxidative stress
– increase in growth hormones

Cons:
– most people think they can eat whatever they want, which is not ideal. You should still eat healthy and get in all of the proper macronutrients in order to see the best results.

Keto (aka Ketosis) is when your body’s energy comes from Ketone bodies in the blood rather than from glucose. This basically means your body will burn fat for fuel. Keto is a high fat, low carb and moderate protein diet.

Benefits:
– improved weight loss
– your body will starve cancer cells
– raise HDL’s and improve LDL’s

Cons:
– sometimes hard to adapt to
– restrictive way of eating
– requires restraint
