Today’s topic is nuts & seeds.

I just want to clarify that these are MY opinions as someone who has been in ketosis for quite a few years now. You may not agree with my guides and that’s okay. This may not be the guide for you. At the end of the day, it’s your keto journey/diet/lifestyle, I’m just putting my 2 cents in here to try and help some people with the information I promote.

SUMMARY:

All calculations are for 100 grams (3.5 ounces) of said nuts or seeds. These calculations can vary depending on brand, type etc.

– Nuts are a great candy or carby snack replacement HOWEVER, they can be evil if you don’t keep an eye on how many are going into your mouth.

– There’s nothing stopping you eating a high carb nut or seed like cashew or pumpkin. So long as you portion out your serving!

– Don’t buy commercially flavoured nuts or seeds. Make them yourself.

– Check the carbs on commercially seasoned nuts and seeds before you buy.
