I’ll start the keto tomorrow. No, I have that party this weekend, I’ll start Monday. Darn, we go on vacation next month, guess I’ll start after that. And as we push our start date further and further away, while our health and wellness continue to decline.

We say we want better health but then we allow our desire to eat “fun food” keep us on a path to sickness. Procrastination hurts us.

When you decide to make a change in your life, there is usually a reason behind it. If you have evaluated your situation and come to the conclusion that you need to change your diet, or your exercise routine, or your sleep patterns, there was a reason you looked at these things to begin with.

What ever issue that existed to cause you to decide that a change needed to be made, was it solved? If not, wouldn’t putting off the possible solution mean that your are saying eating “fun food” is more important than your health? That is a scary idea!

If you have been procrastinating about starting a new routine that would improve your health, I want you to sincerely ask yourself, why “fun food” is more important than your health. And very likely you are saying “no it isn’t” as you are reading this. Yet, you did not start that new routine.

Happiness and health take work. Focus on them and commit to them if you really want to improve your life.
