What the numbers mean:

Below 0.5 mmol/L : not considered ketosis – at this level, you’re not fat-burning

Between 0.5-1.5 mmol/L : light nutritional ketosis – Burning fat but at a slow rate, not optimal

Around 1.5 – 3 mmol/L : optimal ketosis this is recommended for maximum fat loss
