Cottage cheese salad with olive oil and zaatar.

It’s one of those must-make-again recipes from the first bite.
Zaatar and cottage cheese has a unique combination along with the veggies and olive oil.

Zaatar is a middle eastern herb, but the name most often means a blend of spices that always includes thyme, powdered Sumac, sesame seeds, and salt. Authentic Za’atar often has Hyssop instead of thyme.

This salad recipe is perfect for tiffin boxes and keto diet lovers.

Ingredients
Capsicum/ bell peppers diced 1/2 cup
Tomatoes diced 1
Lettuce 1 cup roughly chopped
Avocado cubes 1
Cucumbers cubed 2
Spring onions chopped 2
Celery sliced 2 stalks
Cottage cheese 1/2 cup
Carrot cubed 1

Dressing
Olive oil 1/4 cup
Garlic chopped 1 clove
Ground black pepper to taste
Vinegar 1 tsp
Zaatar 1 tsp

Method

Mix all the vegetables in a big mixing bowl. Add cheese to the vegetables.
Mix all the ingredients of the dressing. Mix well and pour over the salad
Mix well
Salad is ready to serve
