Food Prep-Vegan Keto!

Food Prep for a Vegan Keto Diet! The best way to be successful on a vegan keto diet is to plan your meals ahead. What do you eat on a vegan keto diet? How do you get your macros right? I’ll show you my prep for the first 3 days of the week-I prep twice a week. If you want to prep for 1 week, simply double the prep. Easy, right? The menu provides the right macro balance of 70-25-5 so you really don’t need to do any calculations, but you still should use a keto app to track them to be sure you’re getting it right. Also includes dessert!

This is my typical daily menu for this prep:
BREAKFAST
Vegan Keto Smoothie + SPINACH. I use the recipe here: https://youtu.be/QZkFG2EiO_Q Plus I add a big handful of spinach

SNACK #1
Celery sticks with plant based cream cheese
Veggie pack

LUNCH
Salad with protein and fat. Adding the fat is SUPER important! You can add olives, olive oil or an avocado. Sometimes I add all 3 and drizzle with vinegar, then a shake of sale & pepper.

SNACK #2
Nut & Seed pack

DINNER (always the smallest meal-I’m usually not hungry)
Review macros for the day and add whatever macros I’m missing:
+For protein: small protein shake, tofu, tempeh
+For fats: olives, steamed broccoli, cauliflower or spinach with olive oil
If I have extra carbs left, I go for cashews or plant-based yogurt with blueberries.
If you are intermittent fasting, you can skip this meal altogether. I frequently do!
