Fish Kofta
Serves 5-6
Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
-Boiling water as required
-Fresh water fish 500 gms
-Pyaz (Onion) chopped ¼ Cup
-Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 1-2
-Baisan (Gram flour) roasted 2 tbs
-Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tsp or to taste
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) ½ tbs
-Ajwain (Carom seeds) ¼ tsp
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2-3 tbs
-Anda (Egg) 1
-Cooking oil for frying
-Cooking oil 2 tbs
-Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2
-Laung (Cloves) 2-3
-Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 2
-Pyaz (Onion) grinded 1 large
-Tamatar (Tomatoes) grinded 2-3 large
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tsp
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
-Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste
-Badam (Almonds) grinded 8-10 with 1-2 tbs water
-Pani (Water) 1 & ½ Cups or
-Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 1-2
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

Directions:
-In boiling water,place strainer,add fresh water fish and boil for 3-4 minutes then strain & let it cool.
-Remove fish bones & set aside the remaining fish meat in a bowl.
-Add onion,green chili,gram flour,salt,red chili powder,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste,carom seeds, fresh coriander,egg and mix until well combined.
-Take a mixture and makes fish koftay of equal sizes (makes 12).
-In wok,heat cooking oil and fry koftay and fry until golden.
-In pot,add cooking oil,green cardamom,cloves,cinnamon sticks and mix.
-Add onion,mix well and cook until light brown.
-Add tomatoes and mix well.
-Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
-Add salt,turmeric powder,red chili powder and mix well for 2-3 minutes.
-Add grinded almond and mix well.
-Add water,mix well and bring it to boil.
-Now add fried fish koftay and mix gently.
-Add green chili and fresh coriander,cover and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes & serve!

-Boiling pan mein strainer rakh dein aur machi dal ker 3-4 miutes kliya boil ker lein phir strain ker ka thanda ker lein.
-Fish bones ko nikal lein aur ek bowl mein machli ka meat ko dal dein.
-Pyaz,hari mirch,baisan,namak,lal mirch powder,haldee powder,adrak lehsan paste,ajwain,hara dhania aur anda dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Mixture ko lein aur ek jaisay sizes ka fish ka koftay tayyar ker lein (makes 12).
-Karhai mein cooking oil garam karein aur fish kofton ko golden hunay tak fry ker lein.
-Pot mein cooking oil,hari elaichi,laung aur darchini dal ker mix ker lein.
-Pyaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur light brown hunay tak fry ker lein.
-Tamatar dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Adrak lehsan paste dal ker mix karein.
-Namak,haldee powder aur lal mirch powder dal ker 2-3 minutes kliya ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Grinded badam dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Pani shamil karein aur ubal anay dein.
-Fried fish ka koftay dal ker gently mix ker lein.
-Hari mirch aur hara dhania dal ker dhak dein aur halki ancch per 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein aur serve karein.
