Happy Saturday! Here’s a Lent recipe for you all! Fish choka can be considered keto-friendly, paleo or gluten free. Make sure you use healthy oils (no refined vegetable oils). You also have to serve it on its own if you want it to be diet-friendly (no wheat products).
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of flaked Fish, that’s already steamed/baked/fried
2 stalks of Chive/Scallion
A few Pimento Peppers (seasoning peppers), diced
1 Hot Pepper, minced (optional)
3 cloves of Garlic, sliced or minced
2 leaves of Shadon Beni/Bandhania, chopped
1 teaspoon of Celery Leaf, chopped
1 small Onion or 1/2 of a medium one
Thyme
Salt + Black Pepper
2 teaspoons of Oil (avocado, coconut, macadamia, olive oil, flaxseed oil, sesame oil)
