Creamy Taco Soup
1 lb ground beef
1 10 oz can rotel tomatoes (juice and all)
Hot sauce (add to taste, I used 1 tbsp can omit)
1/4 cup Jarred jalapeños (use less of you don’t want it spicy, but add at least a couple for flavor)
1/2 cup Heavy cream
8 oz block Cream cheese (softened)
1/3 cup sour cream
1 1/2 tbsp Cumin
2 tsp Chili powder
1 tbsp oregano
1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves minced garlic)
1 1/2 cups beef broth
In a large pot, brown the ground beef, then drain.
Add the spices and cook a couple minutes.
Add the softened cream cheese and the sour cream into the meat. Stir over low heat until melts.
Stir in remaining ingredients and heat all the way through on low.
The tastiest, most comforting spicy soup that ever was. It’s almost like a creamy Mexican chili.
